We are less than 20 minutes to both Big Bend National Park and Terlingua Ghost Town, but tucked away from heavily traveled roads and highways. Like most properties on dirt roads in the area, heavy rains can make the roads difficult for travel/impassable for hours to days. There are a few dry creek crossings that can occasionally flash flood, but they usually clear within a few hours after the rain. Although rain in the desert is rare, if there is moderate rain, we simply ask that guests wait until it has passed and roads are clear before traveling. If we anticipate severe rain during your stay, we will contact you to discuss options. We also have other nearby accomodations that are shown in the photos and available to rent.
